The Institute for Faith and Learning was founded in 1997 to assist Baylor in achieving its mission of integrating academic excellence and Christian commitment, and its goal of becoming a university of the first rank committed to its Baptist and Christian heritage. Since its founding, the Institute has developed several major programs in support of this mission, cultivating high-quality research, sponsoring conferences, and encouraging teaching faithful to the Christian intellectual tradition.

Join us TOMORROW for a book launch celebrating "The Happiness Crisis: How Adversity Can Build a Resilient and Joyful Next Generation", the latest book by Baylor educator and researcher Jon Eckert.

Drawing on decades of experience as a teacher, coach, researcher, and educational leader, Dr. Eckert argues that lasting joy is not found in avoiding struggle but in learning to embrace meaningful challenges, cultivate authentic relationships, and develop the resilience necessary for lives of purpose.
