Baylor's Department of Journalism, Public Relations and New Media offers two graduate-level programs of study for those interested in foreign correspondence, mass media, public relations and more. Master of Arts

Interested in Public Relations and New Media, News-Editorial and Production? Students work with the graduate director to design a rigorous program that meets their goals. The 36-hour degr

ee program is a research-intensive that concludes with a major project or thesis. A major project or thesis proposal must be approved before students begin work. Master of International Journalism

This interdisciplinary M.I.J. readies students for exciting careers in foreign correspondence and international mass communication. requires 30 semester hours of course work and a six-hour internship abroad. Before going abroad, students must demonstrate proficiency in a language different than their first. Most students in the M.I.J. program study a language at Baylor before starting their internships. students have completed internships in Europe, South America, Canada, Asia and Africa with news, public relations, government and faith-based organizations.
