Alpha Epsilon Delta is a national organization, founded on April 28, 1926 at the University of Alabama.

We are the Texas Beta Chapter of Alpha Epsilon Delta, the National Health Pre-Professional Honor Society dedicated to the encouragement and recognition of excellence in pre-professional health scholarship. AED is the largest honor society serving exclusively pre-professional health students, with over 171,000 national members in 210 chapters. The Texas Beta chapter at Baylor University was chartered on April 11, 1929 and is the 5th oldest chapter in the nation.
