Baylor Bella Voce

Baylor Bella Voce is one of the premier choral ensembles at Baylor University, directed by Dr. Lynne Gackle.

Baylor Bella Voce is a highly select women's ensemble at Baylor University, comprised mainly of undergraduate music majors. However, Bella also includes many non-majors from a variety of disciplines. Bella Voce performs a wide and interesting variety of choral music on campus, within the community, the state, and nationally. One of Bella Voce's most recent accomplishments includes a grammy nominat

ion for their most recent CD. This ensemble strives for excellence in all endeavors under the direction of Dr. Lynne Gackle but they always ensure that they have fun while doing so!

Our last senior spotlight is on Azayra Ouzounian! 🌻 Azayra has been in Bella Voce for a year, and is an instrumental music education major. She will be student teaching in the fall. Today’s senior spotlight is on Hayden Mott! 🌻 Hayden has been a member of Bella Voce for 3 years and will be graduating with her BA in Communication Sciences and Disorders. After graduation, she will be attending graduate school for speech pathology at Oklahoma State University! She will be serving as a music minister at a church in the area after graduation. Today’s senior spotlight is on Clare Kuhlmann! 🌻 Clare is a speech-language pathology/CSD major and has been in Bella Voce for one year! After graduation, she will be coming back to Baylor for graduate school, pursuing her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology! Clare says her favorite Bella Voce memory was “getting to wear the red scarves for the first time... it was such a powerful feeling! I also loved being both a soprano and alto!! Today’s senior is Gabriella Reyna! 🌻 Gabriella has been in Bella Voce for one year and she is an instrumental music education major. Gabriella will be student teaching at the Northside Independent School District in San Antonio, Texas in the fall semester. After she graduates in December 2020, Gabriella plans to stay in San Antonio in hopes of teaching at an elementary school before furthering her education in percussion performance. Today’s senior is Carolyn Robbins! ✨ Carolyn has been in Bella Voce for 3 semesters and is graduating with her MA in Communication. After graduation, she will be moving to College Park, MD to start her PhD in Rhetoric and Political Culture at the University of Maryland! Happy Senior Sunday! ☀️ All week we will be honoring our seniors on our social media pages! Today’s senior is Helen McDaniel, who has been a member of Bella Voce for three years! Helen is a choral music education major and she is excited to be a music teacher and hopefully sing in a choir in her free time! We are so excited to be performing Will Todd’s “My Lord Has Come” for the 2018 A Baylor Christmas! Please take a listen and we hope to see you at one of our performances! If you are unable to come or were unable to get tickets to a performance, A Baylor Christmas WILL be televised on various networks across the nation. Stay tuned!

Our last concert of the season in Independence, TX! Though not all of our members could join us, we were truly blessed to share our music one last time this school year with the people of Independence. Sic 'em!

Thank you to all of you who have continued to show us love and support throughout this year! We are looking forward to what next year will bring and are excited for you to share in this journey with us!
