Every summer, World of Work (WOW) student fellows get to work in fields like public service, climate advocacy, social impact organizations, and mission-driven nonprofits — gaining hands-on experience while making meaningful contributions in their fields.

The World of Work (WOW) Fellowship exists to make those opportunities more accessible.

By reducing financial barriers, WOW empowers Brandeis students to pursue unpaid summer internships rooted in impact and career growth. Students don’t have to choose between gaining experience and earning income — they can do both.

Through these experiences, students build skills, expand networks, deepen clarity about their career goals, and take confident next steps toward their futures.

World of Work (WOW) Fellowship applications open Sunday, February 1! 👋

WOW Fellowships support undergraduates pursuing unpaid summer internships and enables students to explore career paths, follow their interests, and gain meaningful, hands-on experience. WOW Fellows spend the summer building transferable skills, gaining clarity around their goals, and taking intentional steps toward life after Brandeis.
