Despite getting off to a slow start, Brandeis has had an incredible semester! Here’s a dump of all of our accomplishments since January (with some photos to accompany them):

- At Rutgers, Irina Znamirowski was the 2nd novice speaker, and Srishti should have been the 7th but tab messed up calculating her bye
- At NU ProAms, Srishti was the 4th novice speaker, missing the break with her hybrid from Yale by just one speak
- At Swat II, Srishti was the 3rd novice speaker, and Irina was 9th novice
- At BU, John and his hybrid from Tufts (Katrina) made it to quarterfinals. Srishti and Irina were the 8th and 9th novice speakers and WON novice finals.
- At Brown, Ethan and Srishti made it to varsity octafinals, and Srishti was the 4th novice speaker.
- At Wellesley GM, Srishti and Irina were the 8th VARSTIY team and 1st novice team. Srishti was 4th novice speaker, and Irina was 10th VARSITY speaker and 2nd novice speaker.
- At Williams, John was the 6th varsity speaker. Srishti was the 3rd novice speaker and her hybrid from BU (CeCe) made it to varsity quarterfinals (making it the 3rd tournament in a row where Srishti varsity broke as a novice). Irina was the 8th novice speaker and broke to novice finals with her hybrid from Rutgers (Stav)
- Finally, John and Ethan broke at NATIONALS to octafinals (the first team from Brandeis to break at nats in 8 years), and John was the 15th varsity speaker!

So far, Brandeis has been having an amazing semester on APDA! At Brown, the team of Irina Znamirowski and Ben Kamen broke to novice semifinals, and Irina was the seventh best novice speaker. At GW/ Fordham ProAms this past weekend, Irina and Ellis London broke to octafinals. Great job everyone!

Last week, Brandeis sent a debater to the Stanford/ W&M/ CUNY tournament. At the tournament, Ellis London made it to semifinals with his partner (and our BP coach), Dennis Su. Congratulations to both of them!

Ellis had a great start to the year!
He and his hybrid from Tufts won the UChicago and Northwestern Tournament!
He also was the 10th speaker at Smith last semester!
Keep killing it Ellis!

At USUDC, our BP coach, Dennis made it to semis with his partner Tanay!
At the 28th Yale High School Invitational, Ellis London was an independent adjudicator and a breaking adjudicator.

We had an amazing time at Brown-Wesleyan!

Arman and John made it to quarters where Arman was second speaker and John was third speaker!
Craig and his partner Zan from Amherst made it to semis and Craig was sixth speaker!!

Over the summer, we sent teams to multiple online tournaments.

At the History Open, a couple of our debaters killed it! Ellis and his partner Nick made it to quarter finals and he was the 6th speaker!
Ryan and his partner Zan from Amherst made it to semifinals!
Ellis also won APDA's Bo Missonis Award earlier in the year, so let's congratulate him on an amazing summer!
