Time spent with a Brandeis professor is one of the perks of BNC membership you won't find anywhere else.

Join author Stephen McCauley, co-director of the Brandeis Creative Writing Program, for a conversation about his recent novel "You Only Call When You're in Trouble" and how he finds the humor in complex, demanding families.

About the speaker: Stephen McCauley is the author of eight novels, three of which have been made into feature films. The New York Times Book Review dubbed him “the secret love child of Edith Wharton and Woody Allen,” and the French Ministry of Culture named him a Chevalier of the Order of Arts and Letters.

Introducing the BNC ambassadors! Pictured here are four of the ten new Brandeis student ambassadors, eager to connect with BNC members. (Some of us were in class or studying abroad on photo day.) The ambassadors are appointed by the BNC National office to bridge the communities built by BNC members with the Brandeis campus community, bonding through our shared values. We hope to honor all that BNC has created for Brandeis and express our gratitude. More photos to come! -- Dani S. '27
