Congrats to Nhat and the other grant recipients!

Congrats to Nhat and the other grant recipients!

Congratulations to Nhat Nguyen, recipient of a Festival of the Arts grant! Nhat, an MFA student in music composition and theory, will use the grant to support an interactive installation called Out Into Our World, in which visitors can create their own video artwork from sound signals.
“My project showcases buoyancy through its desire to reexamine the world we live in and find renewal through creativity,” says Nhat. His goal is to create a synthesis between the physical world of music making and the virtual world of video art.
Give it a try at the Sound in Slosberg event on April 27 from 7-9 p.m. which will showcase the work of several other grad composers.

Congratulations to all the grants recipients, who will be profiled here over the weeks to come.
