The Undergraduate Research Day provides an opportunity for undergraduate students to present the findings of independent research projects to family, friends, faculty and peers in a formal setting. This annual research day is an enriching opportunity to recognize the hard work undergraduate researchers have completed throughout their time at Bentley. We are excited to announce the production of La Giara (The Oil Jar), on March 30th at 7:30pm at Koumantzelis.

Please join us for this choral play that portrays late 19th century Sicilian rural society, the same society that produced the mass migration of the early 20th century to the US. This play is significant for generations of Italian American and gives the audience the opportunity to learn about the origins of their ancestors and the values that regulated their society.

The play is co-sponsored the Valente Center for Arts and Sciences, Depts. of English and Media, Modern Languages and CLIC and is under the auspices of the Consulate General of Italy Boston and Comites Boston.

Greetings Bentley Community!

The Service-Learning and Civic Engagement Center (BSLCE) is excited to announce the first workshop of Spring, 2023 in our “How to Work for Social Justice” series, organized and facilitated by BSLCE Social Justice Fellow Professor Mateo Cruz.

The panel, “How to Use Your Story for Change” will take place on Wednesday, February 22nd from 5:00-6:30 p.m in the BSLCE Social Justice Lounge, Morison 101. Light refreshments will be served, along with fair trade coffee and tea. Please see the below and attached fliers for this exciting event, including workshop panelists Dr. Jane De León Griffin, Director of Boston in 100 Words and Bentley Associate Provost for Student Success; Hari Stephen Kumar, Founder of StoryCoach.io; and Laura Geary Cruz, Director of Services at BetterLesson.
