The Johnson County Beekeepers Association brought a great workshop to Warrensburg last month, teaching the history, biology, and basic keeping of the Honeybee. The next week the workshop concluded with assembly of hand made bee boxes. While not native, speakers promoted native plantings to support all bees and pesticide reduction.
