ATΩ First and facts

- ATΩ was the first fraternity founded after the Civil War in 1865, striving to heal the wounds created by the devastating war and help reunite the North and South.

- ATΩ was the first fraternity founded as a National Fraternity.

- The first meeting of ATΩ was at 114 E. in Richmond, Va., where Glazebrook read the Constitution of ATΩ to Marshall and Ross for the first time.

- The first chapter North of the Mason-Dixon line, was chartered at the University of Pennsylvania 16 years after the founding of ATΩ, helping to bring a realization to the founders' dreams of uniting the North and the South.

- ATΩ's first chapter west of the Rockies and first of any fraternity in the Northwest was at Oregon State University in 1882.

- ATΩ was the first national fraternity to start a chapter free of alcohol and tobacco on fraternity property

- ATΩ was the first national fraternity to sponsor and conduct co-educational leadership conferences nationwide in 1992.

Plans after college: my plans after college are to study at the College of Dublin for a MA in Geopolitics & Global Economy for a year in Ireland using my VA benefits, then come back to the States & try for a Law Degree!

Favorite memory: my favorite memory would be the opportunity to serve as Vice President twice for my beloved Chapter L&R

Plans after college: I am going active duty in the Army pursing a career as an officer in the Infantry and then eventually switching over to Military Intelligence. I was the secretary during my sophomore to junior year and President during my sophomore to junior year. This fraternity has helped me through much and I have made some lifelong friends.

Favorite memory: My favorite memory in Alpha Tau Omega was living in our chapter wing in Fitzgerald with Andrew John Siegel.

We appreciate everything Gavin has done for the chapter, we wish them the best in his career‼️
