This is the UCM Student Chapter of the Society for Automotive Engineers and was formed in 1984. SAE chapter members meet every week on Thursday evenings @ 5:30 PM to discuss new ideas and develop strategies for upcoming events. We are always striving to participate in school and civic activities. UCM's SAE student chapter has developed a variety of fun and helpful chapter events to keep its member

s active and to support their projects. Some of these activities include:

Successful day getting the engine back in the car! Just need to button up a couple things, then get the transmission and driveshaft in. Once we get done with that I'll change out the power valves on the carb. and we'll be hitting the dyno to tune it in property.

Went through the carburetor today and made some adjusting. Idles smoothly and got the AFR close, just need to do a final adjustment once the engine is in the car and on the dyno.

The Automotive Club would like to thank everyone that helped and supported us getting the B-mod engine back up and running! It has been a long couple months and a lot of hard work from the members to raise enough money to get all the parts needed to get us rolling in the right direction.
