Outdoor Education is hiring a new class of guides this spring!

OE will be hosting two information sessions over Zoom (Jan 19th 7-8pm and Jan 24th 7-8pm) to share what it’s like to be an OE guide and how our Spring 2022 application process works. Attending one info session is mandatory for any and all applicants.

To find session Zoom links, please go to: https://tinyurl.com/GUOutdoorEd

If you cannot make one of our two sessions, please email [email protected] and we can schedule a coffee chat in place of the info session.

Applications will open Jan. 19 and are due by Jan. 27 at 11:59pm.

We can’t wait to see you there!

Who loves research? The Appalachian Highlands Science Learning Center (AHSLC) at Great Smoky Mountains National Park, of course. We are calling all researchers that would love to help the park address critical needs such as biotic inventory, ecosystem monitoring, or any research project that may increase the amount and effectiveness of research in the Appalachian Highlands Network parks. If you're a researcher and would like a chance to be awarded partial financial reimbursement for your research project, please apply below:
