This Wednesday, Mar. 1st, main campus (SIS) is hosting, "Realism Redux: International Economic Law, the WTO and Investor-State Dispute Settlement in the Trump Era" from 3:45-5:15 in SIS 300.
Dr. Tucker will be discussing his research on the proposed economic and trade policies of the Trump administration and their international ramifications.
Dr. Todd N. Tucker is a Fellow at the Roosevelt Institute. His interests revolve around global economic governance, including dispute settlement and the domestic regulatory implications of international trade, investment, and tax treaties. Dr. Tucker's PhD research at the University of Cambridge examined the role of ideas about economic development in investment treaty arbitration, and his academic work has been published in books and journals by Cambridge University Press, Oxford University Press, Brill Press, and Edward Elgar. He was previously research director for international issues at Public Citizen, and his popular writing appears regularly in Politico, Time Magazine, and other outlets.
