Attention, Class of 2030! NOW is the time to apply to Encounter, Campus Ministry’s pre-orientation program for students of ALL identities and backgrounds. You’ll spend a week building community and friendships with your fellow incoming students before classes and New Student Orientation even begins.

We'll equip you with important skills for having dialogues across differences, and you'll get lots of face time with Campus Ministry's chaplains. Plus: we’ll spend two nights relaxing at the beautiful Calcagnini Contemplative Center, our retreat center in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Applications are due Sunday, June 7. Find the application at the link in our bio!

“Having now gone on this pilgrimage twice, I can confidently say that it is a spiritually renewing experience for our Orthodox community at Georgetown. More than simply visiting meaningful places, this year’s pilgrimage created space for reflection and a deeper awareness of both the brokenness of the world and the presence of God within it,” writes Grace Molla (C’28) in her reflection on Orthodox Life’s pilgrimage to New York City. Read more about her experience on the Campus Ministry blog, which you can find at the link in our bio.

"The program affirmed my Jewish identity, welcoming me into a culture of inclusivity, curiosity, and warmth. The ceremony and celebration were so joyful for my family and me, and seeing friends supporting me was so valuable, especially at the end of freshman year, just having moved to a new part of the country without knowing anyone. More importantly, I really do feel more confident in the idea that I am Jewish, and I am so excited to keep learning,” says Lucy Rotenberg (C’29).

For Autumn Dunlop (N’29), college has been more than an academic transition—it has been a deeply personal journey of discovery, faith, and belonging. Through her involvement in Air Force ROTC and Protestant Life, Autumn has grown to understand the importance of balance, grace, and developed the confidence to chart her own course forward. Read more about Autumn on the Campus Ministry Blog, which you can find at the link in our bio.
