On June 3, 2026, Dr. Adler Mandel was an invited panelist for a congressional briefing organized by the Health Professions and Nursing Education Coalition (HPNEC) focused on Securing the Nation's Health Workforce. She presented on Behavioral Health Workforce Programs and highlighted the impacts of Catholic University's Graduate Psychology Education award (Integrated Behavioral Health in the Nation’s Capital: Interdisciplinary Networks for Substance Use Readiness and Experiences (DC-INSURE) and Behavioral Health Workforce Education and Training award (Community-Based Integrated Substance Use Disorder Training, CB-ISTP).
