Harvard Club of Washington DC

Harvard Club of Washington DC The HCW is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization consisting of DC-area graduates of all the Harvard schools. We're always open to suggestions for new events!

Here are some of the things we do:

1) Participate in a wide range of community service activities throughout the year;
2) Fund summer stipends that allow current undergraduates to come to DC and work at what would otherwise be unpaid internships;
3) Host an annual public service award luncheon (last year's recipient was Professor Peter Edelman);
4) Organize and conduct all interviews of prospecti

ve undergraduates in the DC area;
5) Sponsor embassy events;
6) Award Harvard prize books to promising students at numerous local high schools in the DC metropolitan area;
7) Raise scholarship funds for local Harvard undergraduates;
8) Host free happy hours;
9) Sponsor a book club;
10) Organize events for recent grads;
and much MORE! By joining the Harvard Club, you will support our programs and receive benefits as well! Many of our events throughout the year are member only, or at a reduced cost for members.
