April 8 | 11:00 - 3:00 p.m. Drop in and out of our Subnational Diplomacy: Local Leaders and AI on the Frontlines of Democracy event, hosted in partnership with ALLIES. Three virtual panels featuring subnational, national, & international leaders will discuss shared challenges such as AI, climate change, pandemics, and governance on a subnational level.

Ready for an adventure in NYC? Apply to participate in the Elliott School New York City Career Trek, happening June 3 – June 5, 2026! This three-day program is an incredible opportunity for networking and career exploration with Elliott alumni and top international affairs employers.

Eligibility: Open to current graduate students in good academic standing and alumni who graduated within the last 6 months. (Note: Previous attendees are not eligible to reapply).

Important Dates: Applications close Monday, April 6th at noon.

Semi-finalist virtual interviews: Week of April 17th.

Finalist orientation: Monday, May 18th.

Elevate your career trajectory at this exclusive event designed especially for GWU Elliott Graduate Students! Instead of navigating a crowded field of large corporations, engage directly with recruiters from specialized, mission-driven organizations that value your graduate-level expertise and unique international affairs perspective.

Confirmed Employers: Meet with representatives from the Aspen Institute, CATO Institute, Center for American Progress, CNAS, AEI, IISS, New America, and the Quincy Institute.

Logistics: Admission is via 100 free timed-entry tickets (12:30–1:30 p.m., 1:30–2:30 p.m., or 2:30–3:30 p.m.).

Resume Bank: Once you register on Handshake, you'll receive a link to upload your resume to a digital bank shared with employers of your choosing!

Reception: Network with your peers over light refreshments in the GSS Lounge (Room 603) from 3:00–5:00 p.m.

March 24 | 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. Learn more about TechCongress, a non-profit, bi-partisan organization that bridges politics and tech. Their fellowship pairs students with degrees in development, journalism, law, and government roles with Capitol Hill committees and members of Congress.

🇺🇸 Site Visit: DACOR Bacon House
March 26 | 3:00 - 4:30 p.m. Join us for a site visit to the DACOR Bacon House! Students will meet the Executive Director, Alyson Reed, GW-MPP '98, who will discuss the DACOR headquarters, which serves as a meeting place for current and former U.S. diplomats, FSOs, military leaders, scholars, and international guests.
