Southern University Alumni - Washington, DC Chapter The Washington, DC Chapter of the Southern University Alumni Federation was founded in 1963. Member Chapter shall be to:
A. E.

The purpose of the Southern University Alumni Federation, Washington, D.C. Raise funds to support the Southern University System
B. Provide scholarships to deserving students who are attending or will attend any campus in the Southern University System
C. Inform prospective students of the advantages of attending Southern University
D. Create a network for former Southern University attendees curr

ently residing in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area (northern Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C.) Promote graduate participation in the Southern University Alumni Federation
F. Foster a spirit of cooperation and fellowship between Southern University and its former students and graduates
G. Promote the welfare of the Southern University System

We invite and encourage all fellow alumni to get involved with the chapter and support chapter initiatives. If you are an alumnus of any of the Southern University System colleges, we welcome you to join our chapter. Your talents, time and involvement will assist us greatly in achieving our goals.
