Missouri School of Journalism - Washington Program

Missouri School of Journalism - Washington Program The Washington Program offers students an opportunity to spend a semester working and learning in the nation's capital.

The Missouri School of Journalism’s Washington Program offers students an opportunity to spend a semester working and learning in the nation’s capital. Students work at top media organizations, receiving guidance from seasoned professionals, producing content and making valuable contacts. Directed by an on-site Missouri School of Journalism professor with extensive experience in Washington media,

the program includes a seminar course that introduces students to leading journalists and policy makers. Students attain positions tailored to their specific interests and career goals. They work as reporters, producers, editors, designers, data journalists, photojournalists, strategic communications specialists and more. Students get experience and make contacts that help them find employment after graduation, occasionally at the organization where they did their professional project.
