Alpha Nu Omega Frat - Lambda Chapter

A letter from the DC Metro Alumni President:

Alpha Nu Omega Fraternity (ANQ), Est. 1988, is not only founded on Christian values, but the organization has remained strictly Christian for 24 years, as everything we do is for the ultimate glory of God. Our goal is to minister to people's real needs and to share the gospel of Christ. ANQ was established at Morgan State University by a a mathematics

professor that was disheartened by the level of compromise Christian men subjected themselves to in order to join a fraternity. Some of these men were legacy Greek, but their faith was of utmost importance. So, it was out of commitment to Christian ministry as well as traditional Greek culture that a group decided to establish Alpha Nu Omega. Alpha Nu Omega is not a social club nor a supplemental frat for Christian men of the Divine 9. We highly respect the Divine 9 as: 1) Some of our founding members were a part of these monumental organizations; 2) The Black Greek culture that gave rise to Alpha Nu Omega was established and maintained for more than 80 years by these organizations... before Alpha Nu Omega's envisioning in 1985. But we serve the men that wish to have an exclusively Christian Greek experience... who also desire to serve and minister on Howard University's campus. We are loud. We are strong men for Christ.
