AHS is excited to announce that our Second Event of this semester is one week away. Our topic is the question of American foreign policy in regard to the continuing Syrian conflict. We will be joined by David Schenker of The Washington Institute for Near East Policy, who will engage in a panel discussion with Dr. Burns moderated by Dr. Pappin, both of the Politics Department.
Be on the lookout for our e-mail communications and forthcoming event page. In the meantime, the following articles from Mr. Schenker address the Syrian conflict, particularly the issue of safe zones and the later ceasefire which the United States helped broker.
