GW Arab Student Association The Arab Student Association GW aims to bring Arab and non-Arab students alike together to celebrate the diversity within the Arab culture.

The Arab Student Association here at The George Washington University aims to bring Arab and non-Arab students alike together to celebrate the diversity within the Arabic culture. It aims to achieve this through events that educate people about the people of the Arab world and their values, traditions and customs. Most importantly, it offers opportunities for students learning the Arabic language

to practice with native speakers or learn about their native cultures. Most importantly, we collaborate with other ASA Chapters from local Universities on current events, volunteer work and cultural celebrations. Lastly, it will serve as a resource for all students about the relevant events and internships in the MD, DC and VA metropolitan area

Our biggest event of the semester is here... CULTURAL SHOWCASE! Join us on Sunday, April 5th at 7:00pm in the USC Grand Ballroom for a night filled with fun!

Cultural Showcase is designed to highlight our Arab and Middle Eastern culture and features a special secret performance, catering from Raouche and Papa Kanafa, a coffee cart by Qamaria, and DJ Shikoo.

Note that you MUST RSVP to attend, the link is in our bio! The dress code is formal or cultural attire so make sure to dress accordingly. Doors open at 7:00pm and close 7:30pm. We can’t wait to see everyone there!
