 Tonight, I had the honor of chairing the inaugural veteran caucus at Creating Change 2026. It was incredibly meaningful to recognize recently retired transgender veterans for their service. We presented them with flowers from the community, which felt especially powerful—similar to the emotional moment I received my first two service coins.
