Our sister Riley Machika spent the last few days at the Lewis Institute. Here is what she has to say about her experience:

My experience at Lewis was something I never could have imagined. It has not only allowed me to grow as a person but allowed me to grow into the leadership positions I hold as a member of our chapter. I’m excited to share the ideas and love with my chapter. Thank you to the people and our chapter members who supported me to come here🤍

💕⚓️🎓SENIOR SPOTLIGHT🎓⚓️💕

Kaitlyn is an Economics and Mathematics double major with an emphasis in Actuarial Science.

She held the positions of Director of Recruitment Records, Director of Fundraising, Director of House Management, and Vice President: Finance.

On campus, she was a member of the Dance Team, Washington Fellows, Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society, and Omicron Epsilon Delta Honor Society. She also worked as a LINK Mentor, Admissions Ambassador, and an Economics PAL Tutor.

Kaitlyn will be working as a Risk Analyst at PNC while also attaining a masters degree in Economics at WVU.

Her favorite DG memory was “getting my little, Kendall!”

Caleigh is a Business Administration major (emphasis in Marketing) and an Economics minor. She held the position of Vice President: Communications in our chapter.

On campus, she was a member of the Women’s Lacrosse Team as well as Women of Excellence.

Caleigh will be working as an account manager for a recruiter firm.

Her favorite DG memory was “rotting on the second floor couch with my girls watching the most random shows”

Alexandra is a Psychology major and an English Minor.

She was a member of the Women’s Volleyball Team, Washington Fellows, and the Women of Excellence Leadership Program.

She will be attending graduate school at Ohio University to pursue a career in school counseling.

Her favorite DG memory was “Big little nights. I loved getting my family and seeing everyone else so excited to find new bonds inside their own families!”

Caris is a double major in Communication Arts (emphasis in PR) and French. She served as Director of Public Relations, Director of Alumnae Relations, and Director of Committees. She also served as President of the Panhellenic Council as well as Director of Social Events. She was a member of French Club and PRSSA.
Caris is currently working as a Recruitment Researcher for UPMC in downtown Pittsburgh.

Her favorite DG memory was “getting my little, Becca, or going on the Washington DC fall break trip with Maddie!”

Hannah is a Neuroscience major and an Economics minor. She served as Vice President: Panhellenic for Epsilon Delta. On campus, she was a member of Gamma Sigma Alpha honor society as well as the Women’s Excellence Leadership Program. Hannah plans to attend Duquesne University’s Nasuti College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Her favorite DG memory was “my own big little day, as well as getting my own little Genevieve”

Earlier this month, our chapter was honored as the United Way of Washington and Greene’s Outstanding Collegiate Champion of the Year!
Each year, our members volunteer at the United Way’s Power of the Purse event, supporting the Community Impact Fund, which provides resources for survivors of domestic violence, shelter counseling, dating‑violence prevention, and child advocacy programs.
We’re proud to serve our Washington community and to live out our values through service 🩷
