☀️ It may still feel like summer outside, and toboggans may be the last thing on your mind—but Uncle Bud’s Knitters thinks about them 365 days a year! 🧶❤️

UBK recently donated 100 hand-knitted toboggans for BCCC’s 2027 MLK Day of Service, adding to their 5000+ toboggans given away over the last 4 years. Every toboggan is made with love and prayed over before heading to its final home.

UBK is always looking for new knitters to join the fun, but you don’t have to knit to support their cause! Yarn donations are always appreciated and help keep the ministry going. To knit, donate yarn, or learn more, reach out at [email protected].

A huge thank you to Uncle Bud’s Knitters for helping keep our communities warm—one stitch at a time! 💙

We are so excited that Elite Truck has established a scholarship endowment through the BCCC Foundation to support our skilled trades students! We thank them for giving back to the community.

School's back in session, and for some students, that means stepping into a trades program that could change the trajectory of their whole career.
-
At Elite Truck, we spend every day providing tradesmen with the gear they need to ensure they . So supporting the next generation of tradesmen just makes sense to us.
-
Most recently, we partnered with Beaufort County Community College to establish an endowment fund that will provide scholarships for students pursuing careers in the trades within our community.
-
Beaufort County Community College President Dr. David Loope remarked, "At Beaufort County Community College, we believe access to hands-on training and skilled instruction should never be out of reach for a student with the drive to succeed."
-
"The Elite Truck Skilled Trades Scholarship helps us keep that door open, easing the financial burden for students with demonstrated need so they can focus on building real skills for a real career. We expect this endowment to support qualified students in our skilled trades programs for years to come, and its impact will be felt well beyond our campus, in the workshops, garages, and job sites across our region that depend on skilled tradesmen."
-
"Partnerships such as this one with Elite Truck remind our students that people believe in their potential and are willing to invest in their future. We are grateful for their generosity and their commitment to the workforce of tomorrow."
-
To every student gearing up for the school year and considering a future in the trades, we're rooting for you!
