Hello, I’m Chai - the baker behind Kneady & Co.

Seven years ago, I moved from the Philippines to the USA to marry the love of my life here in Watertown. Growing up in the food capital of the Philippines meant I was surrounded by incredible breads and pastries, baking has always felt like home to me.

Two years ago, I discovered the health benefits of sourdough, and let’s just say I went all in. Books, blogs, late‑night videos — if it taught sourdough, I watched it. Soon I was baking nonstop for family and friends, and they kept telling me, “Chai, you need to start selling this.”

Thankfully, they didn’t give up on encouraging me — because that leap of faith became Kneady & Co.

Today, I’m a full‑time senior student at Mount Marty University, a stay‑at‑home mom of two, and an army wife… and somehow still kneading dough like it’s therapy.

Thank you for being here. I can’t wait to share all the delicious goodness coming out of my kitchen.
