Thank you to everyone who joined us for the first annual Alumni Booze Cruise in Bar Harbor! We enjoyed a scenic sunset aboard the Eden Star, and got the chance to observe various forms of wildlife on the island (there were SEALS)! Alumni from 1994 to 2024 spent the evening sharing stories and appreciating the beauty our state of Maine has to offer.

Congratulations to Kayla LeBlanc '15 for recently accepting a new job as a Career Coach & Navigator at the Community College System of New Hampshire!

"Under the GO-NORTH Rural Health Transformation (RHT) grant, I will be providing individualized coaching, case management, and barrier removal services to support participants in the northern region of New Hampshire entering or advancing in rural healthcare careers. This role involves building partnerships with employers and training providers to connect individuals with resources and facilitate successful employment pathways," shared Kayla.

When asked how her Thomas education has prepared her for this role, Kayla stated "As a psychology major at Thomas College, my classes weren’t just about theories—especially under the guidance of my favorite professor, Cindy Lepley, who taught me how to truly listen and understand what drives people. Now I will be using those exact skills to help northern residents overcome barriers to build careers in healthcare."

Thank you, Kayla, for using skills you gained at Thomas to make a difference in your community. We love to see this!
