This past Saturday we welcomed 14 incoming Carroll students to campus for our third year of the Pioneer Bridge Program. Through this program they built a community with one another, conquered their fears in the high ropes course, and discovered all of the resources Carroll has to offer. Today is their last day in the program and will be welcomed into Freshman Orientation. Good luck to our 2018 Pioneer Bridge Participants!

Horizontes 2018 was our best year yet! 68 fantastic students, 8 awesome mentors and 1 unforgettable week on Carroll’s campus. May we always remember the experiences we shared and the friendships we forged.

76 volunteers, 3 hours, 15,787 pounds of food sorted, and 13,156 meals for our friends and neighbors in SE Wisconsin. Horizontes en Carroll is proud to give back to the community that has given us so much!

Thanks Women and Girls Fund of Waukesha County and Brady Corp for making the STEM for Girls Summer Program possible! We're excited to have received applications from girls in Oconomowoc, Waukesha, Wauwatosa and Milwaukee, but we still have several spots open!

STEM for Girls/STEM para Chicas is a five-day camp designed to educate middle and high school aged girls about opportunities in the STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) fields. Our comprehensive program educates middle and high school age girls in the greater Milwaukee area about areas of study and careers within STEM—Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.

The experience includes opportunities to meet and speak with successful women working in STEM fields, workshops led by women scientists with hands-on experiences, mentorship from high school and college students, tours of local STEM-related businesses and more.

Horizontes en Carroll application is LIVE! The program will be taking place from July 8-13 this year, and there will be some on-campus activities as well as nursing, chemistry, writing and Spanish courses lined up for you!
