Amy Ebert, Extension Waupaca Countyโ€™s Community Development Educator will be featured this morning on Good News Waupaca!

This weekโ€™s Waupaca Proud guest is Amy Ebert. Amy is with the UW-Extension program . She will share all she does here in Waupaca County with the UW-Extension program.

Amy lives and works in Waupaca County. She works with people and groups across the county to strengthen leadership skills and effectively meet community needs. Amy brings a people-centered and analytical approach to her work. She has a gift for presenting complex data and ideas in ways that are clear and useful for everyone. She uses this skill to help groups understand their impact, tell their stories, and make decisions together. Outside of work, Amy values spending time with her loved ones, enjoying nature, and learning new things.

Please join us on Wednesday, June 17th at 9:00 am to hear all that Amy has to share along with the other riveting stories and the laughter we will have. GNW can be found on 96.3 fm and we broadcast live on the Good News Waupaca page.

Join our extension colleagues at the Waupaca Community Garden this summer for a fun story time collaboration.

Join us for story time at the Waupaca community garden @ 913 Riverside Drive. 9:30am every other Monday starting June 15th with "Fruits of the Plant - Strawberries!" Please bring a blanket or chairs to sit on. Partnering with Waupaca Area Public Library and UW Extension-Madison, program runs through August 10th

All youth are invited to participate in a hands on Art Sparks workshop on Tuesday, June 30 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. Art Sparks will be held in the Pavilion Building at the Fairgrounds in Weyauwega. You will need to select either a ceramics class or a photography & watercolor session. The cost is $3 per youth. Shared from the Waupaca County Dive Team - On June 13th from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Amherst Marine will be hosting a FREE Kids Life Jacket Giveaway at 875 Weller Lane in Waupaca.

Over 100 life jackets will be available for local kids, with sizes ranging from infant through plus-size youth. Children must be present so members of the Dive Team can help make sure each child receives the correct size and proper fit.

Quantities are limited and specific sizes may run out, so families are encouraged to arrive early.

Fun at the Fairgrounds with 4-H! Evening fun for children in K-4th Grade! This day camp type event will be held at the Fairgrounds in Weyauwega on Wednesday, July 8 from 4:45 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Registration is 4:30 - 4:45 p.m. Older youth can register to be a counselor.
