🍳🍔 **Wrapping Up the Semester at Spoons & the Food Truck** 🍔🍳

Our final week of the semester was filled with comfort food, creativity, and incredible support from our community. Thank you to everyone who made reservations at Spoons or stopped by the food truck this year to support our students! 💙

*Brunch at Lexie’s* brought a fun take on classic brunch favorites. The omelets were packed with gooey melted cheese, the Homestead Platter captured the heart of a Midwest breakfast, and the BEC sliders and Chicken & Waffles were both flavorful additions. The desserts were beautifully crafted and the perfect ending to brunch.

Meanwhile, *Boo-Bear’s Diner* wrapped up the food truck season with our busiest food truck day of the semester! Despite the rush, our students did an amazing job keeping the food coming out perfectly. Guest favorites included the chili fries, loaded chili dog, classic cheeseburger, crispy cheese curds, and thick shakes topped with a cherry. 🍒

👏 We are so proud of the hard work, creativity, and passion our students brought to Spoons and the Culinary Food Truck this semester!

🍳✨ **Final Week at Spoons for the Semester!** ✨🍳

We’re wrapping up another incredible semester at Spoons with *Brunch at Lexie’s*, a cozy brunch-inspired menu full of comfort food favorites and sweet finishes.

While reservations are fully booked, we still wanted to give those with reservations a look at what’s coming this week 👇

Guests can enjoy dishes like crème brûlée French toast, chicken + waffles, BEC sliders, country skillets, and omelets with customizable toppings. And of course, brunch wouldn’t be complete without desserts like blueberry cobbler with vanilla pecan ice cream or bourbon + peach cheesecake. ☕🍑

👏 A huge thank you to everyone who supported our students this semester. We’re so proud of the creativity, hard work, and talent our students brought to Spoons each week!

☕🚚 **Espresso On The Go** 🚚☕

Last week’s food truck menu, *Espresso On The Go*, delivered the perfect mix of handcrafted sandwiches, bakery treats, and specialty drinks that felt worthy of a spot at a local farmers market.

The Ham & Gruyère Croissant featured the ideal balance of ham and melted cheese on a buttery, flaky house-made croissant. The Chicken Pesto Ciabatta was layered with tender chunks of chicken, vibrant basil pesto, and airy ciabatta bread that tied everything together perfectly.

And the desserts truly stole attention. The mini French macaron trio was almost too pretty to eat, while the Chocolate Espresso Cupcake was far from an ordinary cupcake. From the moment you picked it up, you could tell it was something special. Filled with espresso ganache and hiding chocolate-covered coffee beans inside, every bite was rich, indulgent, and full of surprise.

The handcrafted drinks were just as thoughtfully prepared, featuring flavors like raspberry, orange, cherry, and maple that made each beverage feel like its own experience.

👏 Huge compliments to this student chef for creating a menu that was polished, flavorful, and incredibly well executed in every detail.

🍱✨ **Express Cuisine at Spoons** ✨🍱

This past week’s *Express Cuisine* menu brought an incredibly creative Japanese street food-inspired experience to Spoons, and every dish reflected the care, talent, and attention to detail behind this student-designed concept.

The Takoyaki-Style Onion Rings, made with Fat Squirrel lager batter and paired with house-made teriyaki sauce and Japanese kewpie, offered a fun and flavorful twist on a classic appetizer. The gyoza were flawlessly prepared, and the steak donburi quickly became a guest favorite with its perfectly cooked soy-marinated NY strip steak.

The sushi platter featuring fresh California rolls and umami-rich tuna stuffed onigiri was another standout, and the purple ube cheesecake delivered a dessert experience that was both eye-catching and unforgettable.

While we don’t have photos of every entrée, each dish was plated and executed with incredible skill and care.

👏 Huge kudos to this chef for creating a menu that was original, cohesive, and exceptionally well done from start to finish. Another great experience created by our talented students at Spoons!

Good things really are worth the wait, and this week’s student-designed menu absolutely proves it.

*Express Cuisine* brings a beautifully crafted Japanese street food-inspired experience to Spoons, featuring dishes like takoyaki-style onion rings, gyoza, pork katsudon, sushi, and more, ending with desserts like purple ube cheesecake and matcha-dusted ice cream.

💵 $15 includes appetizer, entrée, and dessert

While reservations are full this week, those with a table are in for something special. This menu is as stunning as it is thoughtfully put together. 👏
