Unfortunately, your Huskies came up short tonight vs. Blackhawk Tech. Hats off to them, as they played extremely well and earned the win. It's always tough beating a team four times in one season, especially when two of the games came down to last-second shots. This Huskies team gave it their all, and while we faced a lot of adversity all season long, they kept coming back. We started the season with 10 guys and ended the season with the same 10 guys. So, I'm extremely thankful and blessed to have coached these guys. We finished the year 11-7, ended up second in the conference, and were one game away from the championship game. Thank you to all former alumni, coaches, and community members who came out tonight to watch. We appreciate it and are grateful for all the support this season. One last thank you to Coach Bill Gibbs. What a tradition and legacy you created at this school! While this is the end of the Huskies, what you built in this community will never be forgotten. Congratulations on everything you accomplished, and thank you for your lasting impact on so many people!
