English major Jasmine Vandermark is studying abroad in Sterling, Scotland.

Here is a regal highlight from Study Abroad student reporter Jasmine Vandermark, ensconced in Stirling, Scotland for a few more weeks of study abroad:

"I took this photo in the throne room of the Stirling Castle, which is the main attraction that Stirling, Scotland is known for. Stirling Castle is one of the largest and most important castles in Scotland and it sits atop Castle Hill. Many Scottish royals lived and were crowned here before the union with England making this castle not only a fortress but also a palace. The castle itself is a bit separate from town and it is an almost twenty minute straight uphill walk from the nearest bus stop to even reach it unless you pay for a taxi. The castle is beautiful and I would have to agree with the statement that everybody who comes here must see it at least once."
