Society will consistently ignore a man's transgressions and blame women for his cheating. Why? Because it has always been easier to blame the girl. This is due to society's OBSESSION with chastity and innocence. Women are viewed in oversimplified polarities and men are complex. Let's have an interactive discussion on slut-shaming. What is it? How do men and women fuel it? What can we do to end it? What role do politics, economics, race and religion play in this sexist epidemic? See you there!

After the horrifying incident last weekend and after the open forum on the racial injustices happening in our school today, the Feminist Collective stands in support for our black brothers and sisters at William Paterson University.

William Paterson University held a forum in the wake of controversy that erupted when a white student used a racial slur in a video on Snapchat.

Another anti-abortion law blocked in court

CNN reports that a federal judge in Texas has stopped enforcement of a state law aimed at outlawing the most common second-term abortion procedure. A federal judge had earlier enjoined an Arkansas version of the law.

Today we are thankful for many things, especially for consumers having equal access to all content online.

However, on this occasion we urge the American public to call the FCC to protest against the repeal of net neutrality.

A rollback of net neutrality regulations would represent a significant victory for companies like AT&T and Comcast and would amount to a strike against consumers.
