DEEPHERS ON 🔝
Recently, our sisters have been working super hard to close out the semester!!!
Earlier this month, Adina won the Cheerleader of the Year award at the Webster Cheer Club Banquet! We are so proud of her for all the work she’s put into cheer while here, and we can’t think of someone more deserving.
At the Research Across Disciplines Conference, we had five sisters present their research on a variety of different topics! Hailey presented on wrongful convictions and systemic flaws that lead to the incarceration of innocent individuals. Raylea presented her senior thesis about adult perceptions of trust in law enforcement, specifically ICE, and Raylea will be conducting a study on this topic in the fall! Ella presented on a paper she worked on earlier this semester titled ‘Her Pages of Revelation: Women, Religion, and The Visions of Julian of Norwich’. Lexie presented on her research about the treatment course for PTSD after sexual abuse and institutional betrayal. Finally, Marianthe presented her research on overcrowded prisons and how to change them! Each sister who presented did a terrific job!
On top of that, Evie also received the George Herbert Walker Award in Leadership! This is a testament to the incredible hard work, dedication, and talent that she has shown in her time here at Webster and will continue to bring to her work in the future.
We are so proud of the work our sisters put in both academically and in their extracurricular programs. Go Deephers!!!
