Texas A&M University-Kingsville Citrus Center at the 123th Annual Meeting of the American Society for Horticultural Science (ASHS 2026)

Research Professor Dr. Madhurababu Kunta and members of his team, graduate students Ms. Julianna Leal, Mr. Sainjot Singh, Mr. Nagendra Pratap Singh, and research assistant Ms. Marissa Gonzalez, along with Assistant Research Professor Dr. Jong-Won Park and Research Scientist Dr. Aditi Satpute represented Texas A&M University-Kingsville Citrus Center at the annual meeting of the American Society for Horticultural Science (ASHS), held August 3-7 in Dallas, Texas. Students gave oral and poster presentations and participated in ASHS lightning competition highlighting research conducted at the Citrus Center’s Diagnostic and Molecular Biology Laboratories in Weslaco, Texas. Drs. Madhurababu Kunta, Jong-Won Park and Aditi Satpute also serve as committee members for these graduate students and have prepared the students ready for the meeting.
