Graham Partners, a private equity firm based in Newtown Square, PA, is looking to hire a full time, entry-level IT specialist (see attached job description below) to join Graham Partners Operating Company (GPOC). GPOC is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Graham Partners, Inc. that provides consulting services and coordinates other services provided by operations executives, industry experts, consultants and outside firms to the Graham Partners portfolio companies, funds, affiliates and other entities.
The Information Technology Specialist will work with the IT manager to support the day-to-day IT functions within the Graham Partners office, provide support to the various properties owned by the CEO, implement information technology and information security initiatives as requested by the management team, and direct the planning and implementation of systems in support of home operations to improve service quality and ease of use. This position will be involved in all aspects of office and home technology and information security systems. The position is onsite at the Newtown Square, PA location and will also entail travel to other locations, as required.
Ideal candidates will possess the following attributes:
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other relevant field.
• 2 years of experience/education troubleshooting IT systems, cybersecurity and planning technology implementation.
• Exceptional integrity and honesty.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to interface with leadership and individuals at all levels of the organization, including family members.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative; ability to
prioritize and re-prioritize in a fast-paced setting to meet internal and external deadlines, including willingness to work weekends and off-hours when needed.
• Responsive, agile, self-driven, and passionate team player; self-motivated to learn new concepts, identify problems, and develop and implement solutions.
• Proficient with Microsoft O365, including Azure, as well as other relevant software systems.
• Working knowledge of network systems such as Cisco switches, routers, and firewalls.
Responsibilities include:
• Partner with the IT manager to analyze the current information technology infrastructure and systems, ensuring alignment with best practices and future scale.
• Managing the technology for the entire family, including home employees for the primary residence and other properties as needed.
• Daily tasks include helping employees/family office members with day-to-day tasks such as iPhone troubleshooting, internet troubleshooting, TV troubleshooting, computer troubleshooting, helping to upgrade devices when new ones are released, consulting on what to buy, and helping to set up technology devices.
• Setting up and monitoring technology equipment across each of the properties.
• Addressing tech emergencies, even when outside of regular hours.
