Morgan attended the organization’s recent conference in Florida. Associate Professor Dan DeMaio, second from right, was re-elected speaker of the ASRT House of Delegates.

What an Incredible Week, thank you truly to for selecting me as only a handful of Radiography students to get this opportunity. I learned so much and made so many new connections in the field, even with having 1 more year until I become registered myself. This was an amazing experience and I hope to stay just as involved, if not more, in the profession when I enter the field myself soon. This was such an Inspiration to me, and showed me that even as a student, my voice is heard. Thank You.”

Congratulations to Daniel DeMaio, M.Ed., R.T.(R)(CT), and Shellie Pike, M.S.R.S., R.R.A., R.T.(R)(CT). Earlier today at the annual governance meeting, the ASRT House of Delegates re-elected DeMaio to serve as speaker of the House and Pike to serve as vice speaker of the House.

: Growing up, Christine Rogers ‘22 knew she wanted to work in the medical field. As part of the University of Hartford College of Education, Nursing and Health Professions, she followed her passion and will earn her BS in Radiologic Technology this month. An honors student, Christine is graduating with a bright future as well as an already accepted full-time job at Hartford Hospital as a CT scan technologist.
