The 25th Annual Arnold Markle Symposium is scheduled for October 24-25, 2016, 8:30am – 5pm, in the University of New Haven’s Bucknall Theater. The topic this year is: Financial Crimes: Bridging the Gap Between the Public and Private Sectors.

“This year’s Markle Symposium is a journey into the dark web of financial and cybercrimes, as well as identity theft and the creation of synthetic identitie

s. These crimes, particularly those involving the internet or communication networks, are growing astronomically, and both the public and private sectors are facing investigations that cross both real and virtual boundaries. This year’s symposium is bridging the gap by bringing in leaders from law enforcement and private industry to discuss the issues being faced by us all. Panel discussions will cover contemporary issues from multiple points of view to create a unified front in combating these growing issues. This is a critical educational symposium for professionals no matter the rank or title, as the victims of these crimes are representative of all facets of America. We look forward to seeing you at the 2016 Markle Symposium.”

Dr. Henry C. Lee will open the Symposium and make the introductory remarks and welcome. The regular registration is $150.00, five may attend for the cost of four, University of New Haven students rate is half, or $75.00, to cover both days attendance, continental breakfast, coffee breaks, and a reception after the first day.
