From UNewHaven MS in Biomedical Engineering to UC Berkeley Ph.D!

Congratulations to Yaw Ofosu Ansong Jnr, a graduate of my research lab, BMDilab and the MS BME graduate program.

I was not surprised to learn that he was accepted at some of the best institutions in the country. His success is a testament to the University’s graduate program in biomedical engineering’s focus on students and research. And his story is not unique in our program. Congratulations to the University of New Haven’s African graduate students for organizing a successful and first of its kind Taste of Africa event on campus. The variety of items on the program including the African countries presentation, dance performance, music, fashion show, and food tasting indeed made it a taste of Africa.

Students who participated in the event study in the many experiential graduate programs at the university including Biomedical Engineering.
