The family is growing in both West Lafayette and Indianapolis. Great to see our students getting to know each other over the lunch break and starting the year together.

The Class of 2028 has arrived on campus. Orientation, campus scavenger hunt, and welcome cookout on Friday with classes starting in Indianapolis and West Lafayette on Monday. We see great things in the future for these athletic training students!

Please join us in welcoming Sarah Igo to the family!

Sarah joins our faculty as a Continuing Lecturer, bringing 10+ years of experience in athletic training across clinical practice and higher education. Throughout her career, she has been passionate about hands-on clinical instruction, student mentorship, and helping future athletic trainers connect what they learn in the classroom with real-world patient care.

We're excited to have Sarah joining our team and can't wait for the impact she'll have on our students.

We're excited to welcome Dr. Cameron Powden to the family!

Dr. Powden is an accomplished educator and researcher with expertise, including evidence-based practice, clinical outcomes, manual therapy, and chronic ankle instability. He is passionate about helping students become thoughtful clinicians who bridge research and patient care. He will serve as our simulation and interprofessional education coordinator.

We're excited for our students to benefit from his experience as we continue building the future of Purdue athletic training.
