Our next Extension Master Gardener Volunteer Basic Training course will be the 2026 Fall Basic Training, beginning August 27, 2026, and going through November 26, 2026. This will be a 40 hour training with weekly meetings on Thursdays from 1PM to 4PM at the PEMC Office.

Please email a completed Master Gardener Volunteer Application and Agreement (https://bit.ly/EMG-Application) to Barb Schwartz at [email protected] to begin the process. The application deadline is August 10, 2026. Once your application is received, you will be sent a link to schedule a virtual ID check.

After vetting is complete, you will be sent a registration link to register for the class and submit the $185 fee. Registration will open on July 20, 2026 and close on August 14, 2026.

Save the Date! Garden Expo is scheduled for April 25th and will run from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This event is perfectly timed for the start of the planting season. The committee has been hard at work growing a variety of plants, collecting items for the Garden Shed. Vendors are lined up, and exciting raffle baskets are being prepared. This year promises exciting with lots of plants and vendors!
