Join Department of Entomology and local partners for Insects in a New Light — a FREE evening program exploring nocturnal insects through black lighting technology.

Participants will learn about:
🔍 Insect diversity
💡 How black lighting works
📱 Using iNaturalist to contribute to community science

Then, head outside to experience black lighting stations and see what insects appear after sunset!

This is a fun opportunity for youth, families, Master Gardeners, Master Naturalists, and anyone curious about the natural world.
