Palm Beach Atlantic University's Theatre program has roots in PBA's very beginning and the study of Drama an
d Theatre at PBA has continued to grow over the following fifty years. Academically, the program is housed within the School of Communication and Media (SoCM), which appears to be a good fit as the direction of the Theatre program subscribes to SoCM's emphasis on the teaching and practice of redemptive storytelling. Today, the Theatre program's mission points to the university's mission of preparing students for lifelong learning and leadership through dedication of intentional integration of Christian principles and a rigorous educational environment that leads to intellectual, spiritual and personal character development.
