This Memorial Day, we pause to honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten. We remember them with gratitude and reflect on the freedoms they secured for us all.

Happy Mother’s Day to the women who filled our lives with stories, wisdom, and a love of reading.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and our latest library display is here to remind you that taking care of your mind is just as important as remembering where you left your book (we won’t judge either way).
Stop by to browse a thoughtfully curated collection of books and resources focused on mental wellness, self-care, and resilience. Whether you’re looking for insight, a fresh perspective, or just a quiet escape, there’s something here for you.

When someone says, “can you just quickly look up the history of Grandin School,” and suddenly you’re six books deep, three tabs open, and questioning your life choices. Earth Day in the Ozarks is a reminder of what makes this place home – the earth speaks in running water, leaf and limestone, ridge and hollow. On this Earth Day, we honor the land that shapes our stories and steadies our roots—asking only that we listen closely and care deeply, so its beauty endures for generations still to come.
