We are getting rain! I FEEL like standing outside and singing praise the LORD! And the Rodeo Arena Arrives today! Let the dirt moving and construction begin ! Barrel racing here in August is my dream! New Rodeo team students settling in and setting practice schedules!

This year HAS BEEN A ROLLER COASTER RIDE! From my own doubts about the worth of my role at MSU-WP to the realization it IS worth the effort. I AM SO HONORED to receive the Honorary STATE FFA Degree. It was great to be on the stage again. The last time was in 1981 as a first year Vocational Agriculture Instructor. FFA is the largest student organization in Missouri! Over 27,000 strong. Three new chapters chartered in 2023-2024. These young men and women will be the next generation that feeds our country and much of the world. Anyone of the retiring Missouri Officer Team could be President of the United States, Secretary of Agriculture, Governor, or an Agriculture educator, veterinarian, doctor, lawyer, business owner WHAT EVER they are called to do! They have leadership experience and I know they will be valued, contributing memebers of our communities!

Congratulations for all of the State FFA award, proficiency award, CDE and LDE award winners, you are well on the way to being the leadership our country needs!
