In continuing celebration of the Writing Fellows Program’s 10th anniversary, the West Point Writing Program welcomed back four alumni & current grad students for a panel conversation. Maya Kuang ’19 (Johns Hopkins University), Joe Zuccarelli ’21 (Harvard University), Nico Manzonelli ’21 (Harvard University), and André Pincot ’22 (MIT) shared their experiences as writers and communicators at USMA, in Academe, & in the Army. Speaking to a crowded room of current Cadet Writing Fellows, Nico emphasized how his background as a Fellow sharpened his teaching skills; Joe stressed the importance of revision; André reflected on “optimizing” his writing; and Maya spoke about the “tremendous versatility” she developed as a Writing Fellow. We are proud of the intellectual community that the Writing Fellows Program develops and that was on full display this week.
