Last Friday, the Civil and Environmental Engineering faculty hiked the Trail of the Fallen near Fort Montgomery—carrying a concrete cylinder bearing our department coin to the summit at the Torne Monument.
We placed it in remembrance of our program’s graduates who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. It was a powerful moment of reflection, unity, and gratitude—honoring those who came before us and deepening our bond as a department.
