The Stony Brook University Hospital C-suite came out in force to work with our nutrition grad students, volunteers and faculty to plant our seedlings. Started in the greenhouse to collect the babies and then filled our beds at the Stony Brook Heights Rooftop Farm. Our farm is a symbol of the importance of veggies and herbs for healing and recovery. We are so appreciative of their help!

Eat when you are physiologically (rather than when mentally or emotionally) hungry and eat slowly. Neurochemical messages sent from the gut need time to signal satiety in the brain. When we eat too fast, it is more likely to overeat.
