Our students from the MCCC Business, Technology, and Professional Studies Division recently had an incredible day at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, and it was an absolute blast! Led by Dean Laura Sosa, Business Administration professor Rubana Syed, and Assistant to the Dean Elizabeth Rzasa, the students first had the pleasure of meeting with Adrian Olmeda, a talented MCCC Engineering alum (Class of 2014) with a background in engineering science and math. He's now the Manager of the Makerspace at NJIT, and he shared his inspiring journey, experiences, and gave a first class tour of their Makerspace labs.
Isaac Vanzomeren, a senior majoring in Fintech, enlightened the students about his major and the exciting financial analysis clubs at NJIT. The students also got a sneak peek into the world of financial analysis at the Bloomberg Financial Analysis Laboratory, where Keerthan, a Management (Business Analytics) expert, gave an incredible tour and spoke to the Business Administration majors about the ever-expanding world of Fintech.
Dean Oya Tukel from the Martin Tuchman School of Management and Associate Dean Melodi Guilbault welcomed all with open arms and shared insights into their programs and initiatives.
Serena Branson, the Director of Administration at the Ying Wu College of Computing, gave us a fascinating glimpse into the tech world at NJIT and spoke to the Computer Science majors in the group. Last but not least, we were thrilled to have Danielle Drago, an admissions recruiter from NJIT Admissions, who guided us through the application process and answered all student questions.
A huge thank you to NJIT Martin Tuchman School of Management for the warm welcome and invaluable experiences! We're excited for the future possibilities ahead.
